This then led to the squatters starting to sell the land for exorbitant
prices, which only pirate kings grew week after week as more and more gold was added
to the economy through play. And, if you play on Morpheus, the Producers
and I don't apologize for all of the trees we've recently stolen
throughout Haranya. 0: Heroes Awaken and the merge. Some One Piece
Online players got exactly what they wanted, and others got what they
feared would happen for a while.
We
sunk a month of pre-testing, 96 hours of concentrated final testing,
and many late nights into the release of Update 2. And now, with the
reset, those players that spent thousands of gold trying to get that
perfect plot have lost it and need to start all over again. Players that
logged in late after the servers came up missed out big time, and even a
lot of players that were first to log in had already missed their most
prized land before they were able to get to it. All servers now feature
similar population sizes, so you'll encounter plenty of people on your
travels and never want for new experiences! Players went out in hunt of
the best parcels they could find, often bringing along friends, guild
members, and alternate accounts to help lock down as many as they could
(most guilds were snagging large squares and organizing the parcels to
help maximize the amount of space they held, while keeping outsiders
from being able to sneak in and set up in the middle of the guild land).
We'll see.
Will this be a blip in the radar, with a big change
coming to One Piece Online? We have to make our bows out of something,
you know! Have you come up with any methods to solve this issue,
preserving the balance of the game world?
